After many years of breeding warmblood horses at Hollands Bend, we have now bred our last foal.
The semen offered in this auction is drawn from our personal collection.
Much of this semen is rare or no longer available.
All semen is stored at Gene Movers, 8 Station Street, Maddingley, Victoria 3340. It will be released directly to buyers, or transport and insurance can be arranged at the purchaser’s expense.
What’s on offer?
Straws of semen from our farm tanks – semen deliberately held for our mares, not clearance stock.
Imported semen with proven pedigrees in dressage breeding. This semen is available only to breeders within Australia.
Every lot description includes stallion details, dose definition (straws per dose), and the number of straws available.
How the online auction works

All bidding is by sealed bid, submitted via the online bid form for each lot.
Bidding for all lots is scheduled to close at 9:00 pm AEDT on Sunday 23 November 2025.
If any lot receives a bid within the final 5 minutes before its scheduled closing time, the auction for that lot only will be automatically extended by a further 5 minutes. This 5-minute extension can repeat as many times as needed until no further bids are received in the final 5-minute window.
After the final closing time for each lot (taking into account any 5-minute extensions), the highest valid bid at or above the minimum starting price will be considered for acceptance in line with our Terms of Sale.
Successful bidders will be contacted directly after the auction to confirm their purchase and to arrange payment and the release or transport of semen from Gene Movers, as set out in the Terms of Sale.
